Jim Stilley

Jim Stilley has more than 30 years of hospital, physician practice, and surgery center experience in the private, and federal healthcare sectors. He has been the CEO of large surgery centers and group practices. He has extensive experience in executive leadership, orthopaedic practice management, payer negotiations, and the overall business of surgery.
Jim received graduate degrees in healthcare administration from Baylor University and in business administration from the University of Washington. Jim is a Certified Administrator Surgery Centers (CASC), board certified in Healthcare Management, and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Renee Nason
RN
Operations Manager

Renee is a licensed nurse with over 30 years of experience in the medical field including leadership and management positions. Her focus is operations management within the operating room and ambulatory surgery setting. She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of policies, policy review, procedures, practice improvement; and oversees all accreditation processes. Renee is a graduate of Schoolcraft College and holds licenses in Michigan and North Carolina.
Todd Borst
CEO

Todd Borst is the CEO and manager member of Smithfield Surgical Partners with more than 20 years experience in the Ambulatory Surgery Center market. Having established himself as a leader in the industry, Todd has been instrumental in the development and management of more than 100 surgery centers across the United States. He is a graduate of California State University-Sacramento.
Kyle Nieporte

VP of Operations

Kyle Nieporte is an executive nurse leader with 10 years of experience and over 50,000 surgeries in ASC’s nationally. Kyle also has experience leading in-patient surgical services departments. Kyle has a strong healthcare private equity background and brings this experience to Smithfield, playing a key role as Chief Operations Officer. Kyle’s role includes, but is not limited to, clinical oversight, ASC supply chain management, regulation and accreditation, and construction management for De Novo ASC’s.
Nick Frisch

President of Operations

Nick Frisch, MD, MBA, is a fellowship-trained board certified orthopaedic surgeon. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and his Masters from Loyola University in Chicago. He achieved his MD and MBA in Healthcare Management from Tufts University School of Medicine in Massachusetts. Nick completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and he received his fellowship training in Adult Reconstructive at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Nick is a partner in Smithfield and focuses on development and operations
Adam Warda

CFO

Adam Warda is a licensed CPA by the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Adam currently serves as the CFO of Smithfield and is involved with day-to-day financial reporting and financial planning and analysis. Adam’s financial duties include, but are not limited to: Financial Statement Compilation, Physician Performance Analysis, Accounts Receivable Oversight, and Banking Management. Adam also serves a role on the operations team.
Nejd Alsikafi

President of Strategy

After a career in academic medicine, Dr. Alsikafi has been interested in finding ways for surgeons to make more money in a time of declining reimbursements. He understands the local politics that surgeons face with each other as well as with hospital systems. He is an independent urologist in private practice, and believes strongly in Smithfield’s strategy to put physicians first.
After completing medical school and residency at the University of Chicago, he completed a fellowship at the University of California San Francisco in reconstructive urology. He served as an attending urologist at the University of Chicago and Loyola University Medical Center. In 2015 he has transitioned his entire practice to Uropartners, the second largest single specialty urology group in the United States.
Kim Hamann

VP of Operations

Kim Hamann is an executive nurse leader with more than 15 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
Kim holds an integral role as Vice President of Operations. She brings inpatient and outpatient experience including clinical and financial oversight of daily operations, regulatory and accreditation, supply chain management and quality patient care initiatives.
Kim graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Madonna University as well as a Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration from Madonna University and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from University of Michigan.
